Ostarian Grove is proud to announce the 2011 Pagan Community Weekend (PCW)!
The Pagan Community Weekend was designed to allow the community to come together to teach, learn, make contacts and friends, meet active pagan organisations, and to discuss the direction and future of the pagan community. We are holding lectures and workshops run by many familiar faces from the Australian pagan community.
Workshops include learning about your ritual voice, recycling junk to create sacred objects, dance in ritual, life development of the mind, body and spirit, pagans in the professional workplace, your rights at pagan events, astrology, pagan activism, inspired painting, a day in the life of a paranormal investigator and much more, including beginners workshops and guidance.
WHEN: Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th February 2011
TIME: 8:30am – 5:30pm each day
WHERE: East Roseville Community Hall, 6 Babbage Road, Roseville 2069
PRICE: $35 per day for adults ($60 for both); $20 per day for children ($35 for both days).
There are a limited number of spaces due to the maximum capacity of the venue so there will be no door sales, only pre-booked tickets. The close date for payment of tickets is Friday 11th February 2011, or when maximum capacity is hit. Included in the ticket price is a morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea that will be provided on both days of the conference.
TRANSPORT: The venue is accessible by public buses.
The PCW is child-friendly. All presenters and organisers have signed the ‘Working With Children’ Forms according to the Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998. The Pagan Community of course includes our children and we have taken steps to allow them to attend the event and aim for the location to be child safe. However, we are not running child-specific workshops, and if you bring your children we would ask that you ensure they are well-behaved and non-disruptive at all times.
