Australian Wheel of the Year for Sydney
by Julie Mills and Tom Byrom
This course will explore the concept of the wheel of the year, discussing the traditional wheel, its origins and its conversion to southern hemisphere seasons, as well as exploring the differences between the European/British seasons and landscape, and that of Australia, and how these might affect our use of the wheel. We will discuss the diversity of the Australian landscape, and introduce a wheel of the year for Sydney, which we have been researching through observation, the study of native plant and animal symbolism, and experimental ritual. We hope that this presentation will allow more pagans to celebrate the changing cycles of the native bush, as well as the agricultural cycles and solar cycles relevant to the traditional wheel.

So You Think You Can’t Dance? – Introduction to Ritual Dance
by Pip Stoneham
Discover the power of ritual dance in this practical workshop that allows you to explore rhythm, energy work and movement in both an individual and group setting.
The voice is a powerful tool in the arsenal of the magical practitioner. It is a manifestation and communicator not only of our true will but of our unique identity: our voice is an integral part of who we are and arises from our thoughts, feelings, and desires. From there it can be utilized by our intellect to effect change in ourselves, others, and our world – the more aware you are of your voice, the better able you will be to communicate those thoughts, feelings and desires, and to affect these changes.
This workshop will explore the physical nature of the voice and how it is produced, and introduce you to ways in which you can connect your voice in a powerful and intentional way. You will explore and develop an awareness of your own voice, and the power of group voice through breath, sound, words (magical or otherwise!), and song.
