Pagan Community Weekend 2010

Ostarian Grove is proud to announce the third annual Pagan Community Weekend (PCW)!

REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN!

The Pagan Community Weekend was designed to allow the community to come together to teach, learn, make contacts and friends, meet active pagan organisations, and to discuss the direction and future of the pagan community. We are holding lectures and workshops run by many familiar faces from the Australian pagan community, an open ritual, and market stalls!

Workshops include learning about your ritual voice, percussion in ritual, dance in ritual, life development of the mind, body and spirit, a review of the Parliament of the World’s Religions 2009, astrology, pagan activism, a panel discussion on homosexuality in paganism, inspired painting, looking at the Australian wheel of the year and much more, including beginners workshops and guidance. Workshop details can be found here, and further details about this year’s presenters are now available too!

WHEN: Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th February 2010
TIME: 8:30am – 5:30pm each day
WHERE: West Lindfield Community Hall, Sydney
PRICE: $35 per day for adults ($60 for both); $20 per day for children ($35 for both).
There are a limited number of spaces due to the maximum capacity of the venue so there will be no door sales, only pre-booked tickets. The close date for payment of tickets is monday 8th February 2010, or when maximum capacity is hit. Included in the ticket price is a morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea that will be provided on both days of the conference.
TRANSPORT: The venue is unfortunately not easily accessible by public transport. If you are unable to organise to drive or find a lift for yourself, let us know and we should be able to organise one for you.

The PCW is child-friendly. All presenters and organisers have signed the ‘Working With Children’ Forms according to the Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998. The Pagan Community of course includes our children and we have taken steps to allow them to attend the event and aim for the location to be child safe. However, we are not running child-specific workshops, and if you bring your children we would ask that you ensure they are well-behaved and non-disruptive at all times.
