About

We are a Sydney based eclectic Pagan coven who formed in 2006 after meeting at the AWC. Essentially we are a fun-loving group of young (and young of heart) Pagans, with a passion for working to inspire thought, play and communication in the Pagan community at large.

We run regular events such as Northern Sydney’s ‘Pagans in the Pub’, the Pagan Community Weekend (PCW) and the Yule Charity Dinner, along with workshops and open circles to which all are welcomed and invited (see our upcoming events page). All of our events are not-for-profit, or charity fund-raisers, like PCW 09 where all donations and profits went to the Victorian Bushfire Appeals.
Keep an eye out for us at regular events in Sydney, come up and say hi – we would love to meet you!

Ostarian Grove are:

Hayley -Hayley Cliffe is an eclectic Pagan, who focuses mainly on home and hearth and believes in nourishing those she loves with good home made food, and hand made gifts. She believes that, as Pagans, we should do our part to help not only our own community but the entire community at large. What better way to improve the lives of others and the world around us, and dispel myths and fear of Paganism, than through charitable actions? Her pet projects are organising the Pagan Community Survey, and organising the charity side of OG events.

Kris – Kris is an eclectic pagan practising since 2003. She believes that religion should be a part of everyday life, rather than a hat to be put on only for special occasions and then left to gather dust the rest of the time. She likes learning and hopes to continue finding new things to learn for the rest of her life. She enjoys growing her own food, and catering for various gatherings be they large or intimate. She also takes care of most OG website-related tasks, along with Hayley (and others as and when needed).

Mok – Matt ‘Mok’ O’Connell has been a practicing Pagan since 2006, and is constantly surprised by how much he still doesn’t know. A young man with an analytical mind, it’s not surprising that Mok follows ‘Quantum Magic’ believing it to (eventually) lead to a final unification of science and faith. Mok is a Leo, and boy, doesn’t he just love to show it!

Pip – Pip Stoneham has been a practicing pagan for over ten years (and has problems remembering exactly how long these days!). She has been actively involved with the Australian Pagan community – running events, workshops/discussions, online forums and open circles, since 2006. She was part of the online and New Zealand community before that. She is one of the founding members of Ostarian Grove and began the Pagan Community Weekend (PCW) in 2008 with their support. She has a personal fondness and commitment towards the community and enjoys working her arse off for it. She is an Eclectic Pagan on a Western Ceremonial path.
